Speeding..... The Wind on your Sleeve...

Nice sunny day, music sounds good in the car, wind on your sleeve, and a smile on your face.  speed limit is 55 and you're doing 60.

To those who have not "pulled up", you are the blurr...

You realize that you have to get passed a "speed limiter" to get ahead on this road, and looking at the speedometer, you are now doing 75...

You are doing some numbers!!!

You know you are speeding and that it is likely to get you into trouble with the "letterman".

you slow down...... Back at 55 as is recommended.

Okay, aint no body going to stop you, you're good.

Suddenly, someone comes from behind moving seriously fast you think to yourself:  80 or 90ish...

You say to yourself, "Boy is he doing some numbers."

This is excessive speeding.  Most likely, he is a big wheeler who doesn't care much about what you think.  Don't much care about the law.

When someone is doing some serious numbers, they are likely to put people in danger.  In most cases, they are pretty careful not to, but when competition is present, they are not likely to care about who is in the way.  They are very forceful people.

Doing some numbers is a term used to describe someone who is going beyond the speed limit more than excessively.  It is something that you yourself would not do.

I, personally, found myself going down a highway.  I was doing 65 in a 55 mph zone.  I made an attempt to "jump".  There was a fellow coming behind me that would not allow me to make that "jump".  So, I sped up, hoping that he would fall back.  But, he didn't, he sped up.  So, I in turn, sped up.  Then, I looked at the spedometer, and saw that I was now going 90, and decided to let him go.  I don't know how fast he was going, but he was "doing some numbers".  And, it really pissed me off!  I was thinking:  "follow him, and let him see you writing down his license plate".  Then, I thought:  Nah!!!  That will scare him.   I know it would scare me!"  So, I let it go... But, I know he was doing some serious numbers.

And looked back at me like it was my fault... The Jerk!!!!  Ooohh, I can't get him outta my head!!  Like a bad song, that man!!! That I can't shake.  Car was maroon, with a bugs bunny in the window.  Guy had chubby arms.  if you want to watch out for him.

Just a suggestion.... Anhhehehehe!!!
