If you're going to step to the plate, be prepared to run after the swing.
On the heavily travelled road of life, there are many movers and they are constantly moving.
This is traffic.
Everyone is on the same path, if you will, and they are looking for opportunities to advance.
If you stand still, know for certain that there are many others waiting to take ahold of opportunities while you sit
idle.
What this means is to carry on with the flow, and don't let yourself fall behind.
Although it is likely to happen, you should be prepared to pull up, not only to close the gapping space between you and
opportunity, but because there are others waiting to get where you are now.
It is not just about driving, but it is about what is happening with your life.
Pulling up, refers to moving into place when you fall behind.
Whatever the reason or cause of falling behind, be it a distraction, trying to find your way (reading a map), or making
an attempt to jump another, you must always be prepared to pull up.
Unless, of course, you happen to be comfortable going at your rate of speed towards your goal, are not in a hurry, and
not worried about the competition, then pulling up briskly is not necessary, but moving forward certainly is.
